School Board member Deena Hayes may make a run for Greensboro City Council, this according to Ryan Shell over at Greensboro Politics. See my piece on this on my sister blog, GreensboroMetro. Hayes may be seeking the Dist. 2 seat being vacated by outgoing City Councilman Goldie Wells.Still a rumor for now, but it bears watching. If she wins (and that's a mighty big IF), will she abandon her school board seat and focus on her city council seat exclusively? Will she juggle both seats? Both Wells' district and Hayes' school board district could arguably use some better representation.
Keeping an eye on this one...
