No more year-round schools?

Busy day in school-ville...this just in to GSW that GCS year-round schools may be on the chopping block, such as Hampton Academy (shown).

N&R reports GCS chief Mo Green is looking at how returning some or all of the year-round schools in the county back to a regular calendar might save the school system money.

Is this part of the grandiose strategic plan, or is this simply to satisfy Skip?
