I'm going to keep posting this picture as evidence that we elected this ditz to the Governors mansion. And teachers across the state were in full support of her. And what do our schools get in return for their vote?
...exactly. (cue the crickets)
Now comes word that Raleigh wants even more money back; this, on top of the money we've already sent back earlier in the year? When will it end?
By the way, I read, with interest, Guilford Education Alliance's Margaret Arbuckle's op-ed in this past Sunday's News & Record on education in the 21st century as it related to globalization. Well, with all due respect, we cannot have this conversation until we fix what's going on in Raleigh and elsewhere in the state.
I have penned a response, and submitted it to the N&R. I'll let you know when it gets printed.
